Personality: Igen is always seen with a wide grin across his face, and his eyes are always closed, giving the appearance of a man trying too hard. Some would say he uses this appearance to seem more innocent of matters, while making the reader more suspicious of him. Igen doesn't seem to show any emotion, as he always speaks in a sarcastic manner. 

He doesn't appear to be trustworthy, and from his facial expressions he looks to have a ominous demeanor because of this many find it hard to trust him, His manner of speech is very imformal and even disrespectful to others. Though not often seen, the Hyuuga possesses a sadistic side, characterized by his eyes opening ever so slightly. Igen loves toying with people's emotional states for his own amusement. During his free time, Igen often goes out for walks around Konoha. Despite his hobby supposedly being bird watching, it would seem as though he also enjoys hunting around and searching for an opportunity to create mischief with some poor victim. 


The hyuuga is always looking to further his strength, no matter what the cost. The man has no reservations when it comes to completing a mission, he usually tries his best not to leave any clues behind and is very thorough in his actions. It is almost indescribable how fearless the jounin is, it almost as if he lives off the fumes of battle and bloodshed. Igen sees most things as either black and white, in most cases there is no grey area with him. 

Igen is a Scientist who targets those with powerful Kekkei Genkai. He is psychotic, empathetic, and dangerously intelligent. Igen has no problem with using people to achieve his goals, his ultimate goal is to make the world a fair and safe place, his means of achieving such might make others think different.  
                 
His personality is very contradicting. While he appears to be cynical and nihilistic in public, he is at the same time devoted and protective.In private he shows a great fear of emotional pain and of being hated or left behind, likely due to his perception of being abandoned in his youth and, subsequently, blaming himself for not being good enough to make his father stick around. In general, Igen is shown to be quite introverted due to having little to no meaningful contact with others. In social party situations, he might show a cool outer appearance but is quite uncomfortable, and he often has difficulty controlling his emotions around people he cares about. He is shown to the extreme of this, forsaking many lives (even his own) to save one person. Due to Igen's fragile mental state, he chooses to shut out the world and be alone when he returns from high risk missions as he is still rather unstable and likely to violently lash out at people.

History:  Igen Hyuuga was born to the head of the medical corps of konoha. His father was the revered and well respected Kazuma Hyuuga of the hyuuga's main house, but outside of his last name and his kekkei genkai the man had nothing to do with the clan or it's hierarchy due to the fact that he married a branch house member Akiko Hyuuga, she was well known in the tight nit shinobi community of Konohagakure. The Hyuuga are on the forefront of keeping their clan's blood "pure" and their techniques secret. With this they had created a class system this class system had become the life blood of the world renowned clan.  Kazuma and Akiko had left the hyuuga compound and lived in a well to do flat just one block away from the konoha hospital. His parents worked long tedious hours in the hospital healing shinobi and normal villager alike. The two hyuuga's bond became even stronger, through one of many steamy evenings when the lovers "let out stress" came along an infant with silver hair and a peculiar look in his eyes. The boy came out of the womb not crying but almost laughing, Akiko and Kazuma had decided that it would be best for akiko to raise the child and start him in the practice of the hyuuga clan's closely held secrets  as well as their rituals and very basic jyuuken techniques fundamentals that must be taught at birth. The change in routine made it a lot easier for the hyuuga to strike, but not willing to get their own hands dirty, they went to a missing nin who would only have money on his mind. On one hot summer afternoon in their small flat a loud knock bellowed out from within the apartment complex it would be the sounds of a jutsu that would end Akiko Hyuuga's life right in front of Igen forever scaring him. The boy would become an introvert with a permanent smile on his face almost all hope of a "normal life" was gone.



   About a month after the incident The Hokage who was looking to strengthen Konohagakure's military force, Approched Igen's father, seeing as the hyuuga was respected across the board in all fields of medical ninjutsu. Kazuma was asked to begin secretive work that would create a "Super Weaopn" that would aid in tracking down Akiko's murderer as well as protecting the leaf. Kazuma received a large sum of money and a private residence outside of the village's immediate jurisdiction there was a tunnel going from the basement of the estate to the towering hospital so that the man would be able to work around the clock on their "Super Weapon Project.". In his lab underneath the hospital Kazuma would work around the clock on advance chakra manipulation techniques.Igen developed rapidly for his age and was able to speak and read articulately by the age of 7, the boy developed so much so that his father decided that it would be acceptable for him to accompany his father to work, the boy would run around the hospital and spend time with dying elderly folk where they told him the stories of the olden days before the village existed and the great shinobi wars that had occurred. 


     Igen would grow accustomed to death in his long days spent at the hospital he would also grow accustomed to suffering and sadness, but not once did he weep, he only laughed when people laughed, and looked on solemnly when people passed. In the evenings he would return to the estate while his father stayed behind to "work the late shift". Igen never grew close to his father but he did respect him, although he could not say he felt the same way about his father as he did about his mother. As the boy grew older so did his thirst for knowledge eventually Igen would join the academy where he did not stick.


         Igen excelled in almost all aspects of the academy's education so much so that he was to be moved out of the class and immediately put into a squad, this was where igen had decided that he too would like to become a medical specialist just like his parents, igen never saw any of his classmates and had wondered where they ended up. The child went through the majority of his genin years honing his medical craft along with his taijutsu skill. The only department he lacked in was his ninjutsu but he didn't care too much about it he had the basics down. 


          His squad leader was a rather impish man who in his own right was a taijutsu "master"; The squad also had two rather unimpressive genin who could be classified as hotheads one female and the other male. The group was tight nit except for Igen he never said much, the hyuuga did care too much about anything that was going on between the group Igen was only there to hone his medical taijutsu so that he could impress his father. The squad blew through many d and c rank missions and even one b rank mission, Igen was the standout saving even the jounin squad leader on one occasion. The boy was clearly ahead of his years, once the chunin exams rolled by Igen was once again the standout using taijutsu techniques that not even most full grown hyuuga could use. 


    After his promotion he decided to leave his squad and pursue a postion in the medical staff at the konoha hospital so he could spend more time practicing his medical skill, at first Kazuma was hesitant and told him that he would not be seeing much of his father as he would be busy but he did not care, Igen was more interested in the capabilities of medical ninjutsu being turned into a well refined and deadly combat style. Igen had followed his mother's path and became a surgeon in the hospital. by the age of 15, he quickly rose among the ranks and perfected his chakra scalpel technique that he planned to combine with his jyuuken. 



He decided that the hospital was no longer the place for him as it had served it's purpose he left without giving much notice and returned to his post as a full time shinobi, as Igen's life took off as he would continue serving the village and his fathers slow descent into madness would become more and more obvious to him. Years went by and his communication with his father became more and more sparse everyday until the day that Igen would be promoted to Elite jounin. At his commencement ceremony he would see his father for what unbeknownst to him would be the last time. Kazuma slowly made his way to his son as the celebrations died down he looked deeply into his son's eyes "Igen, I am heading out of town for a bit so please take are of yourself I left somethings for you at the estate for you to look at, you are the only one I can trust, goodbye." after muttering those few sentences kazuma left without saying another word. Upon returning home Igen found the estate ransacked it was clear someone was looking for something. 

    Igen sprinted down into the cellar of his home where he would go to the secret entrance of the tunnel to the research facility, he would find an oak box with golden locks and trim. Igen pried open the box and found a key and a single sentence "You are now in charge of my life works what you do with it is your choice son, be safe, I love you."

Yes, I probably would have made it lower but he is a jounin and he worked at a hospital so I thought it would be too far fetched.
